Data deletion
Draft — not yet final. The parts marked below are still to be written by A3.
What A3 deletes
- Disconnecting a Facebook Page or an Instagram account in A3 (Campaigns → Accounts → Disconnect): A3 forgets its access at once and deletes its posts' figures, which are what the network reported and the clicks on their links. The posts and the words the team wrote stay, in A3 and on the network.
- A request through Facebook (below): A3 does the same for every account that Facebook user connected through A3's own Meta app, and forgets which Facebook user connected it.
Still to be written
[To be written by A3 — what else A3 deletes on request (a person's account, an organisation and its data), and how long backups keep it.]
Ask through Facebook
If you connected a Facebook Page or an Instagram account to A3 with Facebook:
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find A3 and choose Remove.
- Ask Facebook to send A3 a request to delete your data. Facebook gives you a link and a confirmation code.
- The link opens this page with your request's status.
Accounts connected earlier
Accounts connected before A3 began recording which Facebook user connected them cannot be matched to a request from Facebook. Disconnect them in A3, or ask A3 directly.
